Memories

Looking for dogs to adopt with Chan a few years back.. We went to the SPCA and the Humane Society in Reno. SPCA was pretty small but had a good amount of dogs there. When we first walked into the room where they kept their dogs a lot of them were barking at us except for one. We saw Teddy and thought he was absolutely adorable! We went up to him and he just pushed his body against the fence for us to pet him. Chan figured that her parents wouldn’t let her take him home and the other dogs didn’t appeal to us so we decided to check out the Humane Society. Before we left we were said to Teddy, “don’t worry we’ll come back for you!” We were totally giving him false hope cause we weren’t really going to come back for him. We checked out the Humane Society and they had a shit ton of animals. There was still no dog that we liked there either. Eventually we went back to get Teddy at the SPCA. =]

I remember that day we picked him up. We went to Petsmart to find stuff for him. He didn’t have a leash or a collar yet, just a small yellow rope. Teddy had a bad history with small animals so we had to be careful. We were looking around Petsmart with Teddy and whenever we saw another dog we would try to walk to other way. Teddy was a beast and it was tough trying to pull him the direction that we wanted him to go. I also remember taking him to a park up by McQueen. It was cold and windy so it wasn’t very eventful.
